A selection of photographs from the Northwood Holocaust Memorial Day Events “Thank You Afternoon” held on Sunday 23rd May 2010 at the newly refurbished Jewish Museum in Camden.  Guest speakers, volunteers and committee members were able to look around the exhibition including the specially dedicated Holocaust Room, before enjoying refreshments.

Sharman Berwald Chair, stated “This event would not happen without the valued support and dedication of a team of volunteers from Northwood and Pinner Liberal Synagogue, Northwood United Synagogue, Bushey United Synagogue and Borehamwood and Elstree Synagogue.

Each and every one of you makes a tremendous impact on this programme and what we deliver to students and teachers.”  Sharman also thanked all the Guest Speakers, who were present, or not able to attend, for their dedication and commitment in recounting their personal memories again and again; she assured them that their testimonies and messages of hope would be passed onto future generations.
